Week one results

Its the end of week one and things seem to be going pretty well. The graph shows my measured weight in the reddish dots, the weighted average in yellow triangles line and my 'target' weight in the blue diamond line.

As you can see by the dots, weight measurements can fluctuate quite a bit so I'm smoothing them using a weighted average to get a more useful number for my current weight. Similarly its hard to tell what my real starting weight was so I used the average of the first three days (235.9).

My current smoothed weight is 233.21 which implies a weight loss of 2.7 lbs this week. A pretty good start. I know that many times the initial loss is just 'water' weight or something still I'll celebrate what I can and wait and see what happens next week.
